(260501) -- UNITED NATIONS, May 1, 2026 (Xinhua) -- Representatives vote on a draft resolution during a Security Council meeting at the UN headquarters in New York, on April 30, 2026. The Security Council on Thursday adopted a resolution to renew the mandate of the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) for one year, until April 30, 2027, with a reduced troop ceiling.
