Proteas star batsman Quinton de Kock has returned to the Top 10 of the ICC Test batting rankings following South Africa's 2-0 Test series win against West Indies.
On Monday, the Proteas clinched the two-match Test series 2-0 with a 158-run victory in St Lucia - handing South Africa their first away series triumph since 2017 in New Zealand.
De Kock ended as the top run-scorer, contributing an unbeaten 141 in the first Test and 96 in the second Test.
According to the ICC's latest updates, De Kock's performance with the bat helped him gain two places and reach 10th position.
It's the first time in 18 months that the 28-year-old is in the Top 10 of the Test batting rankings.
Meanwhile, Proteas skipper Dean Elgar moved up one place to 19th after setting the platform for the win with 77 in the first innings.
Rassie van der Dussen, who scored an unbeaten 75 in the second innings, jumped 31 places to 43rd on the batting rankings.
In the bowling department, player of the match Kagiso Rabada moved up one place to sit in sixth position after taking five wickets in the second Test (2/23 and 3/44).
Spinner Keshav Maharaj also reaped the benefits of his seven-wicket match haul, progressing three places to 28th.
Maharaj completed South Africa's first Test hat-trick in 61 years on Monday to finish with figures of 5 for 36 - he took 2/47 in the first innings.
South Africa now shift their attention to the five-match T20 series against the West Indies, with the first T20 scheduled for Saturday at 20:00 SA time.
