Yugoslav war crimes convict to be released

The first suspect to be handed over to the Yugoslavia war crimes tribunal in The Hague will be released on the weekend.
Bosnian Serb Dusko Tadic, who was apprehended in 1995, has served two-thirds of a 20-year sentence in a prison in Germany.
He was found guilty of war crimes committed in northwestern Bosnia.
The president of the United Nations tribunal has endorsed his early release.
